I totally agreed, i started this regime, hair has been growing drastically!!! except the trimming of the ends, my hair only gets trimmed as needed...

4. If you have braids, keep them no longer than 1-2 months and use toner or astringent and a Q tip to go between the parts (I recommend 10-0-6 from Walmart)
5. Trim your ends religiously, every 6 weeks at least

hair always grows, why we dont notice it is we dont protect the "old" hair, so that breaks off, new hair grows in, and hair appears to stay at same length.
! 2nd what that.chick said, bad habits breaks hair, cause u can be natural and even if u have bad hair habits your hair wont be healthy.

@ ndi amaka
relaxing your hair too often also causes it to break. personally i relax my hair about every 12 weeks but it is generally advised to relax about every 8 weeks

I disagree, combing the hair too much can weaken it. IF it lacks moisture or if you have it chemically treated and it has regrowth combing should be sparingly - wrap wherever possible.
My hair grew an inch the last time I used this principle, that is it grew so much my friend thought I put a piece in.

I use Carol's Daughter hair products and they are GREAT! They have nothing but organic ingredients. No petroleum or mineral oil. Plus, they are not too expensive.
