I have a perm in my hair and it is a nice length. I do not want to get another perm until june. I have had my hair short and texturized before but not permed and texturized at the same time. I just want to be able to pull my hair back into a pony tail without seeing a fro under my perm (it's not funny). Can you texturize permed hair because I intend to wear pony tails till june and if it is ok, can I go right from that to perming again?

if you want to watch your hair go down the sink... think about it.. both chemicals combined often has the effect of depilatory cream

well a texturiser does not straighten it only softens and as my other sister said you hair will go down the sink and from me probably start growing there.always get a perm when due otherwise if u want to stop using perms let go of them and press ur hair with a pressing comb weekly or so,use a lot of reconstructors.Joico has good reconstructors otherwise get ready for the revolution of damaged hair.sista u sure dont want that.keep ur hair moisturised and oiled in the scalp and just let it breathe.using ponytails for that long a time will give u bald spots in the middle due to the tension pull in the middle.
