..Tampons. How is it? I hear its uncomfortable but I dont see how it could be. Who here has tried it?

it's aiight , nothing spectacular. If u're on sometype of bcp then yeah it's really cool.

Wow- i used to be a pad-woman. I swore that i wounldn't do tampons until maybe after i had a kid but i tried them and omg- i'm ain't goin back!! No stench- and girls- you gotta admit- sometimes when you are wearing a pad- you can smell yourself and that junk used to irk me- the whole decaying blood(hardly an aroma) !!! And it really is a messy ordeal- dealing with pads. Tampons- once you get it in- you can't even feel that you are on your period (except if you have craps) just change ever 4-5 hours and you be straight- although it hurt me the first time i tried cuz you gotta get it high up enough so it doesn't hurt. Just you de applicator - like injection- and shoot that sucker up! Try it- I'm a tampon advocator now- after years of abusing my tampon using friends "you have like a cotten penis in your coochie."

Oya- I have assignmnet for you pad using gals. Get one of your tampon using buddies- and let her show you the best position to insert (shay you know your uterus is slanted so you can't but the thing all the way up- aspa 90 degree angle- you gotta glide it in) -anyhoo, your next period just try it- it's ok if you don't use it, just try it eh? You gotta get over that hump sometime!!

i was sort of for the whole tampon comfy thing too. i started taking the staphylococcus aureus thing seriously after i heard about someone who went into a coma for days cos of tss, a gurl's gotta be careful.
