Talking Natural Products -two questions please

Im planning on going natural and having dreadlocks unfortunately i havent any hair salons around that could help groom it, so Ive decided to groom it on my own, how do I start.
I used to hear in 9ja, when girls said they mixed star beer and eggs for their hair, you know when they relaxed it and tried to make it less shiny and stripped of chemicals for school.
Does it work? bcos my hair is very texturised and I dont have the patience nor courage to wear it looking shaggy during the conversion process.
thats question 1

question 2-- now girls dont be scared we know some of us have all got some there, "stretch marks", are there any natural remedial sercrets like mixtures you can make tried and tested, or any common creams that work really well.
Answers please.

Answer (2) If you know anyone going home this xmas tell them to bring you pure sheabutter from home it is very goood for strechmark, and also pure vitamine E oil,you can mix it with sheabutter and try to use it frequtly (sp) it has help my marks to fade gradually.

Answer (1) my hair has been natural for 8 months now,i didn't go thru the trasition process,i went to the barber shop told him to cut my hair as close to my scalp as he can,.i love my natural hair its so soft .

Every week i deep condition with evoo oil, almond oil ,mix it with honey leave it on my hair for about two hours with a shower cap on,.
i use sheabutter daily, with surge for growth.
suave conditioners are also very good for naturals.

Sheabutter is da bomb for natural hair.

I know some people use beer to wash their hair, but if i were you i will use honey instead, mix honey with your regular conditioner if you want moisturise and shiny bouncy hair.

Too much protein is not good for the hair,if you planing of using egg for your hair, just don't rise your hair with hot water if u know what i mean.

DOn't really know about the whole washing the perm out process...as far as I know..when you have a relaxer in your hair...the only true way to get it out is to cut it off.
I actually stapped getting a perm about 4 -6 months before I actually cut it off. In that time, I wore it in straw-set styles, and even a threaded style...but then I finally gave up on al that hair (which incidentaly was mostly dead-ends by that time) I went to the salon and had them cut my perm off...and I had about 2 inches of new growth that wasn't spilt at the ends...

But hey...if you don't want to go through the transition process of having short hair...just get some braids until your hair actually grows out more...

I am not a youruba girl so i don't know what its called in youruba, but i can try to explain to you how to find it in nigeria,if u go to any market in naija ask any woman or girl u see selling "the traditional black soap" ask them where you can find the cream that looks like butter,i am sure they can help u out.
EVOO oil,u can buy it in any regular food shop in your area, almond oil and vitamin E oil u can find in any natural shops.
There are so many brands.....

I dont know what shea butter is called in yoruba, only know the igbo name (ori/okwuma) but no need to go to naija for pure one, I always have pure one, as in the pure yellow kind (raw), and not the lighter one, and u can get it from any African store/vendor/festivals, or even online, like ebay or many other places.

Yes, there are effective creams (creams that works) for stretch marks. Someone I know used it and it worked wonders.
