Plating hair with thread

I know most of us here plated(sp

) our hair back then in primary school or secondary school,but my question is did it made your hair to grow much more than brading it?

I think my hair grew a lot ohh. But i dont think its worth all that ...having that suprised look on ur face for like 3 days after you do it. LOL

them things brought me so much grief when i was in elmentary. I decieded to say i dressed up for mudusa for halloween

but its still made my hair grow.

Alternating between threading and braids ( kept in hair for max. of 2 weeks should help promote growth.)

edited yrs to weeks...lol...I guess I was tired

(rubbing scalp wincing from the flashback of biweekly facelift given by threading) And no it didn't make my hair grow any faster than braiding..but it was a source of amazement for all my peers in elementary as I went to an Oyinbo school

So are you saying that threading is very painful? when i thread back then in naija it was not painful,except when the hairdresser hold my hair very tight that hurt

...it depends on who did your hair...even with braiding its the same... there are some ppl who just pull your hair too tightly.

i dont htink it really does much for growth, it merely straighten, out black kinky hair, braiding does same for growth , just htat it does not straighten as the thread.
