Natural Hair products

My hair has been fully natural for a few months now and I was wondering if ya’ll know any good products for natural afro hair.

Leave-in conditioners
Moisturizers (WITHOUT mineral oil or petrolatum)
Shampoos
Oils (WITHOUT mineral oil or petrolatum)....I use Wild Growth oil

And anything else u recommend I do and/or use.....

deep condition your hair often....more than once a week....and use Gueyes health and beauty products...they are awesome...

does it really work for your hair? is there any side effect?

i don't buy into all these protein whatever for da hair. MAybe if ua re styling then u need produts to make ya hair fuller,etc
Just keep it clean and use good oil/spray.

definately a shea butter, tree oil user....i have had my locs now for about 5 years sorry i don't have any pictures besides the horrible ones i have on BP.com....

Cool....so how long are your locks now? I've been natural for like 6 years now....and have been thinking about locking...but i keep talking myself out of it

middle of my back just past my shoulders....yea. it's REAL easy to talk yourself outta of doing it, but once you have them it's REAL hard to talk yourself into cutting them....I think I will wait til my wedding night to cut them

How did you start, funred how do you maintain them since theyre not locked, could you like pls take out itme to give me a step by step detail as Ill have to do it with some galfriends.

And funmi i love the shine on yours, my sis had dreads for a while but got frustrated when they wouldnt grow, how do you keep the sections looking good.

@Funred....i have no real intention on cuttin my hair and handing it over to my husband....obvisouly it was a bad joke.

@ butterflybeauty.....Maintenance is key. Conditioning my hair once a week helps keep it from going dull....retwisting every 6-8 weeks is good, for me i do it a little more often, my hair grows pretty fast.
