No...girly no...fade cream will make things worse. Fade cream actually destroys melanin which in the long run is not not not not good.
prevention is the only cure. Try to find products that prevent break outs. Take extra care of your skin, hydration is necessary. Get a daily moisturizing lotion that contains alpha hydroxy acids. Skin heals itself naturally. If your skin is sensitive, i recommend aveeno products. They contain oatmeal and soy etc...natural moisturizers.
My sister had it and used all kinds of products which only irritated and worsened the situation. In the end she had to cut out a lot of bad habits the #1 being touching her face.

thanks 4 the replies. So using fade creams only on the spots where hyperpigmentation occurs is not good?

try licorice extract, I've tried it before on dark spots and they faded away in about 3 weeks of using a few drops on the area twice a day. And I used extra sunscreen those weeks because it makes you skin sun-sensitive

Not to sound like a walking infomercial but proactive is da bomb. I know, I know I know...I had my reservations too but a trial will convince you....plus I make some homemade masks eg; natural honey + banana + oatmeal (my fave by far) also avocado + banana + cucumber. Some of the masks can dry your face out so replenish the moisture.

try a formulation with kojic acid. its not as harsh as hydroquinone , which is like the standard ingredient in most of these bleaching products. just google kojic acid.
