find an aveda salon and get them to do a demi-permanent color. It doesn't mess with your hair texture like other colors will. And the color lasts for a good while, and it's 98% plant based so it's pretty natural itself.

ma friend did it, but she didnt do it well. den i got another one about 2 weeks later. ma hair is still VERY nappy ..and i LOVEEE d color. i have twists in right now. in a lil while imma show some pictures.

one of my friends dyed her hair with henna. it's supposed to be a lot better for your hair than the chemical treatments. You have to do a few applications depending on how dark your hair is and how light you want it in the end. I'm thinkin of trying it once i take these braids out
