Default Lye VS no lye relaxer
Some ppl mentioned that relaxer with lye is better cos it doesn't dry hair like the ones without lye does.
Can someone with more info on this explain more please. If possible post a link with more info too.

I read in a hair book for black peoples hair that relaxers with LYE is much more better than the no-lye relaxers because the relaxers with LYE doesn't make your hair brittle and dry. They are rarely sold on the selves, they have them in hair salons though

My hairdresser adviced me to use relaxer with lye and i can't find it anywhere in stores. Anyone have any idea where to fine them apart from salons.
