I think we've all finally seen the effects of low self esteem, and the need to fit into mainstream or "white" America. (Or the European look)
My sisters (and brothers)....We were born with beautiful brown skin which come in different shades. Shapely bodies (well ... some and not others), and kinky f**king hair.

I don't want to sound like the folks that i felt were condeming me for my past choices, blaming it on brainwashing...but hey i woke up one day tired of that stuff i'd like to call "Creamy Crack" (you know...the relaxer) and quit tryin to dodge the sun cuz i was already brown.

Now Lil Kim....that b!tch has gone too damn far. When is it gonna stop and whose gonna be next. Nigeria is already a prime victim...

i do not c white america attacking eachother for sun tanning and being darker. Actually they still insist hat it looks good on dem eventhough it causes cancer.

When white people try to get what is considered beauty in other ethnicities you don't see them calling the people sell-outs. Why? Because they are secured with themselves. They know a white woman looking to get a bigger butt doesn't hate her race, she just want's to look better. The fact big butt is common with black people doesn't mean she is trying to be black.

It's natural to appreciate some physical attribute of other ethnicities and when some people go as far as try to copy it, it doesn't mean they have low self-esteem or they have self hate.

Turning one's skin to white is exteme though.

RIIIIIIIGHT.....anyway, the reason i brought up lil kim cuz people go to extremes. It all starts somewhere...and you're both right to each his own...but when the hell should the line be drawn.

As far as white people tanning....yeah, so they could look more ethnic...(not necessarily black..... maybe more latino cuz they are kind of seen as having the best of both worlds)...but what do i care about them????
