I heard of a new technique used to shape eyebrows, and it was called threading...I was just wondering what EXACTLY it was. It's not that serious ladies, calm down. Geez

Its not exactly a new technique. I believe Indians came up with the idea. I may be wrong. I really don't know too much about it except for the fact that my Indian coworker had some very lovely eyebrows and she told me about it. She did tell me that it is not painful. I just wonder where I could try it out also.

ur right there, the Indian's came up with the whole threading stuff. It's a little painful i have 2 admitt, but its better than tweezing or any other eye brow shaping technic. There r loads of places u can thread ur brows here in London

Not sure if it really last longer than tweezing or waxing, cos i've only done my eyebrows by threading. I've heard it last longer though. Its just a tad bit painful and it always comes out nice.

just like the name says.. THREADING. they get a thread, twist it, and use it to tweeze the brows, so as the thread is unfolding, its shaping ur brows in the process (thats the best way i can describe it)

Oh, and BTW, anytime I've seen threaded brows, they always look nice and neat and I'm not 100% if they last longer than aother methods, but your hair IS pulled out from the root, so it takes a while to grow back regardless.

well I've had it done, and I don't think I want it done again...it makes your eyes water and it's a lil' bit more painful because your gettin' your hair ripped out one at a time very fast...you can almost hear it...it's a just a tad neater, which is something you can achieve just as much as waxing...and that myth that supposed to last longer is not true...I've had it done twice and threading lasts just as long as waxing...

if you ask me, I'd rather have waxing done...it's fast and efficient
