Natural Hair Ideas

I'm looking for a new way to wear my hair this summer. I've been looking over the net for sample pics but all i see is permed hair. Does anyone know of any sites that have natural hair pics? I'm tryin to go for the Kelis wild hair look but with my kind of hair...not half breed hair.

My hair with the kink is shoulder length. when i stretch it or hotcomb it it's mid breast.

Well have you tried Curl Activator gel? Twists?

I dont think Curl Activator is gonna give me the look i want. Twists are ok...but not gonna give me the 'glamorous' look i want. Thanks though. I'll figure it out.

and your african right? wow, i NEVER knew that kinky shoulder length hair could suddenly go down to midbreast....in fact, even if you did straighten kinky hair i dont think it would EVER get down that far...kinky hair is kinky, not elastic...no offense

My Naija friend, when her hair is in its natural state, it looks quite short but when she straightens it, it goes past her shoulders.

you might have to visit a salon for that type of look...I don't think you're gonna get the kinky-style without heat some kind of way...at least like kelis's...unless you hair naturally does that after you wash it....the gel or curl activator or mousse might help keep the kinky style...otherwise, you might have to visit a salon for that...
