that's wierd...coz red lipstick never looks good on dark skinned peeps..unless maybe it depends the kind of outfit they are wearing?? hmm

shylaw upon closer observation, youll probably notice that the person had very nice features. I've seen people of the same tones wear the same shade of lipstick but for some reason (which is beauty and finesse features), one can pull it off and the other can't!
Red brings a lot of attention to the face- if the rest of the make up isn't too perfection/messy, the lady looks tore up or something just isnt looking right facially, it is exaggerated and then just looks wrong. and for darker skin, its like you're painting on an already colored slate so theres more room for a color mismatch- one just has to be more careful. mmmm 'Berry!

Why is it such a misconception that dark-skinned people can't wear red lipstick?? I used to think like that, but my sister-in-law use to sell Mary-Kay. She's darker than me, and all she wears is red. She taught me to stop thinking I'm limited to brown's and dark hues, because that's what the stupid white people throw at you first when you go to a MAC or any other make-up counter.
It's all a matter of finding the right red tone, for your complexion and being tasteful with it. You can't red lipsticl and line with a black liner, of course it will scugly. You got to know how to rock it.
