I'm testifiying today to thank God on behalf that even though I was turned down for the Resident Advisor position for my last year at my school more possibilities turned up....even though I won't be an advisor in the dorms, I'm still gonna live on campus because I was given a spot...now for next school year which will be my senior year at this university, I don't have to worry about bills, rent etc....no overseeing unruly Freshman and being called out in the middle of the night to tell someon to turn their music down...so all the good things ( free housing, free meals and book aid ) that accompanied an R.A. position will equally weigh itself out next year....a blessing in disguise...

I just wan to thank God because HE is too good to me... I don't think y'all understand HE NEVER EVER EVER EVER disappoints HE is a just GOD and I love HIM, I love the Lord so much I could shout it out scream dance praise HIM right here in this computer lab. I wan to thank GOD concerning my academics, for the things HE has done and most especially for what HE is doing right now and for what HE is yet to do because He always blesses me more than I desrve...Ose JEsu pe o kami ye, mo yin o L'ogo, atobiju iwo l'ope ye...ose mo dupe, kini ma fi yin o? ...wierd. I lost my wallet (drivers license, School Id, library card, various school/prof cards, bus pass, work keys & home keys with my address all attached to the wallet) on the bus, and i my day was off with a really realy bad start..i couldnt make it to work early, cos i didnt have the keys...i felt MAD!

called the CTA, they said they had not found anything..i remember losing a diskman on the bus b4, and i really didnt know what was up dis time...I felt like ok..out of all the people who use the bus what r the chances dat soeone would 1. see it, 2. pay any attention 3. report it to the bus driver

Had my boss contemplating changing the locks of my workplace and stuff, and i felt really dumb. my pops was also considering changing all the locks of the house, cos of security reasons.. he was concerned dat i was not organised at all...had me really feeling pissed.

I was so pissed particularly at God, as in, he could allow something so inconsequentially small could cause so much trouble.

i saw dat it made no sense trying to put the blame on God, cos it was like he was saying dat I was better off trusting him in everything i do, instead of getting mad at HIM whenever something goes wrong. I thought about it and i was like..ok...i guess i cant be mad at God for everything. No matter what happens, even if it gets worse than this, ill just trust in him...i mean, what is the alternative anyway?

i felt dat it happened for a reason though. Something said dat ill find the keys, but i'll have to go thorough some stuff first. later, my pops gave me a real talk about organising myself, although i was all subdued i think i really needed dat. I know i could have lost the keys for any other reason apart from being disorganised, but that talk with pops really popped something into the right socket.


This evening, the CTA called me saying dat they got the keys. I picked em up this night


just wanna say dat no matter how twisted your situation sounds, just trust in him...You might not get what you want, but it will always be for the better. ALL the times dat i remember that i ever went through something bad, i ALWAYS came out a much better person, most definitely with Gods help..Even if i didnt find the keys, i think i would have come out a better person...

God dey..i hope ill just be able to serve him right..dats all..

I'm so glad to be here today to share my joy. Wow! Completed & presented Research, Recognised for Outstanding Achievements as a McNair Scholar, Graduating from college with "Benefits", moving into a new apartment, interning at a National Laboratory this Summer, Grad School in the Fall, and the list goes on. No wonder Jesus said "Do not let your hearts be troubled, trust in God, trust also in me." (John 14:1, NIV) LOL!!! Hmmm, Love is just a few heartbeats away. What more can I ask for besides a bright future guided carefully by Jesus Christ.

I just want to thank God for his protection and journey mercies...My friends & I could have lost our lives or badly injured this past Friday but God didn't make that our portion...I thank God for sparing my life and continuing to take control of my situation...Thank u Jesus!...

I can say this is one of the best years of my entire life. I have learned to trust and depend on God entirely for every aspect of my life from health to finances, education to business, relationship, even little things as simple as misplacing something at the crib. I have begun practicing some of those things that I have only known in theory.

I have also discovered that faith and fear are fanned through the same means. For example, when you continually bombard yourself with the word, listen to tapes, testimonies about what God does in the life of people, your faith grows and you can learn to begin to trust God. On the other hand, if you continually listen to things that create fear in people, trying to figure things out on your own, always skeptical about things, your faith level depreciates and goes down. It’s a daily to process. You must constantly gauge your faith level. I do maintain a journal where I write in records of answered prayers. Not only does it help one’s faith level to increase and believe God for more, it also takes one’s eyes of their problems and rather focusing on God and to be thankful. The best part is that you don’t need a big faith to start, just like the word says, ‘a mustard seed like faith will move a mountain’ (the tip of your finger by the way can scoop up hundreds of mustard seeds).

This is my leap year and I am leaping.

Although I felt like my getting dis-approved for early rlse from the Air Force, was a sign that some things in my life aren't right. I realised that my God is not an unkind God. HE would not allow things to happen for the sake of teaching me a lesson, or "getting back at me.
In fact, I believe it's His way of preparing me for something greater or even saving me from something that could have been heading my way to harm me if i was to leave.

So I just want to say thank you, God has kept me thus far blessed me more than i can ever thank enough for. I trully enjoy and love being in his presence. HE is my hero and the lover of my soul.

I testify to God's GOODNESS and MERCIES this year especially this summer in Him giving me an internship and work with the State. Lord accept my Praise in Jesus' Mighty Name Amen.

I testify that no matter what I am going through right now God is Mighty upon me and completely by my side. He will never leave me nor forsake me, even though men may do so. He will take me through the fire and bring me forth pure and refined, stronger, bigger and better than I have ever been in Jesus' Mighty Name Amen.

The Lord shielded me from yawa while I went shopping. He blessed me with patience and a calm spirit. He guided my steps to a place I never knew so I could get a tight hair cut for my date. I thank God for Jesus' intercessions on my behalf. He also granted my request to tap some soccer @ Cater Baron park in DC, and sweet Memorial Day weekend. Wow!!! The Lord is good all the time.

I just want to thank God for protecting me chillin alone in places I shouldn't even be, that even though I have family situations like mommy and daddy issues, I am still fine because God is my mommy when I need one and he is also my daddy when I need one, he is also my friend, also my bodyguard, also my comforter, he is my everything I need him to be, and what is so wonderful is that I do not have to lose anything to gain him, all I need to do and what we all need to do is keep trusting him, keep obeying his commandments. No one is like him even when you know u don't deserve to be helped, guess who comes to get you up on your feet again LOL! mmeenn MY FATHER IS GREAT. I JUST LOVE HIM No reason not to love him.. none, he's done countless things in my life.

Have you looked at all your disappointments, anxieties from the past? I was just thinking, that despite all the problems I've had in my life, I still stand here today- I really believe in the saying, "And this too shall pass". The hardest part of dealing with hard times is to accept the fact that you are supposed to come out of it, having learned something- even Jesus did not get to sit beside the Lord without shedding blood, tears and being hungry, so who are we then to complain that life is hard when we were given life?
Last year there were so many disappointments in my life, so many things went wrong but you know, for every delay, every failure, every mishap, I see now how God used those incidents to position me in a spot to receive bountiful blessings. I believe in the power of prayer, not anxiety or fear. I believe in the power of asking, don't ask God why something has NOT happened for you when you haven't asked him to make it happen.
Ask and ye shall receive in his time which is the best time.
Another thought to ponder...how are you using the gifts God has given you to glorify God? Use your blessings, testimones and talents to draw others to God.

I Thank God for his mercies and favor he continues to bestow on me. I'm glad i'm a part of his family, enjoying the blessedness and bliss that he offeres to me daily. I will not trade this for anything else in the world.
