Default Fashion Gurus pls

If you happen to go shopping, and u came across similar clothing with equal quality & price.......but different labels. Which label would you pick? Lets say you have to choose from the following labels...

1. Xtacia
2. Liz Eko
3. Louis Eko
4. Lag & Rio
5. Lag & Eko
6. LAG BASED
7. Cista

Intelligent answers please. Pick a label and tell me your reason behind that choice....Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry u don't find it meaningful , but those r just names u have . You might as well use price as a criteria and pick anyone.

Hmmm, a good choice will depend somewhat on the target market for your clothes...this is general, but the higher end designers tend to use their names on the label more than generic high-street brands.

But, personally, I like "lag & rio". It doesn't sound too common and its 'exotic' enough to make people wonder about the label. "Cista" is also good but I'm not too sure 'bout the rest.

minTea, the problem with using our Nigerian names is that most of our names can be misinterpreted. So it's kind of difficult to find a combination that works....Nowadays, most upcoming designers tend to go for names that keep people in suspense....ie Structure, Express, J Crew, J Jill, Nine West, Buckle...etc But anyways, thanks for ur response.

Don't know if anyone has given u this advice before, but y don't u use ur real name on the clothes. Italians and french language weren't always considered sexy until ppl start relating good sexy clothes, foods and other nice things they are not scared to put their names on to them. Don't worry if ppl can't pronounce it, I mean how many italian, french names can u pronouce until u hear it so many times.

Yes thanks for the info. The problem here is that our main target is the West African market. If West Africa wasn't colonized, then maybe a "traditional" Nigerian named label would work. Trust me we have tried different combinations but after going through some brain storming, we decided to do away witht the idea. For now, we are looking for something that will look atractive to both Nigerians and Foriegners.....but it MUST have a Nigerian touch to it.....Thanks for ur advice.
