max i've done is 2 months 'cos after this period, it starts itching and smelling. prolly cos i can braid my hair myself, i can't imagine carrying a particular hairstyle for 6 months.

LORD ave mercy.. u can even see da dandruff an ' shyt.. dunno aw peeps can go about with that nasteeh shyt on their head.. O ga oh.. infact it plenty for dis country sef..

I think braids are good. If you get it right.

The length, color[I like it when they aren't mono-color], the thickness and the style.

I carry mine 2 months max. Any longer and my hair'll start falling out. Even at that, I either wash or clean my scalp weekly.
