i think it depends.....although i've heard others complain- i usually have no problem when i plait my hair....i alternate between braiding it or weaving it and my hair is fine.....anyway my hair is not permed, and it touches my shoulders.......

No thats not true, but then again it depends on how well you keep your hair. Black hair is very difficult to maintain esp, esp if you have natural hair..

Braids or extensions do not pull your hair out, unless your hair is very very thin. When you keep braids in your hair for 1, 2 or 3 months and take them out , that hair thats falling out isnt damaged hair but regular shedding.

It is natural to lose 50-100 strands of hair per day, so when you go months without combing your hair, of course you are going to have to shed some of that.

it does for some ppl , and doesn't for others. In general it's when u leave it in the hair for too long, and if u used hair glue for the extensions, a lot of times ppl just pull off the hair rather than taking them out the proper way, so ur real hair comes off with the fake hair. Hair left longer than 1 month is prone to breakage under extensions or braids .
