Default African attire for graduation?

I'm having my graduation ceremony in September. Do you think it's a good idea to wear African clothes for it? '

I live in NZ, and I've seen Pacific Island ppl wear their national dress & Indians wear their Sari's for graduation...

Help!

Thumbs up

No doubt. I try to incorporate traditional clothes wherever I can. You've got all that sun down there--you should have something fly made and rock it with pride.

That's a wonderful idea!!! I'll adopt it for my graduation. Make sure u're well dressed for the occassion..because it's a once-in-a-life-time event. That might also make ppl recognise how beautiful African clothes are. It's an opportunity to uplift the African culture. Please Kiwi_chick, use it wisely.
