You take for granted the water you drink.
Your down-filled pillows
The warmth of your dog
And how she flips over for a rub
Donning hot sun-glasses!
And feeling mighty fine with them on
Confidentiality.
Having your business be yours.

Having the time to ponder
"Why do we say such things as
"God is great, he is wonderful"?
Whoever said God was a man?
If we really were made in God's image,
Then would my God not be a woman?
Or at the very least, have no gender?

Oh wait! I digress!
Such things you take for granted
The liberty to ponder and digress
At my pace, at my will, about things that make sense to me.
What is freedom with a slaved mind?
Give me liberty of the mind or I am not free.
