Argh, my stupid hair!

I just took my braids out and relaxed it... and it looks like my hair is shorter than it was the last time I relaxed (about 4 months ago). WTF!?!??! I trimmed but that's still not enough to lose 4+ months of hair growth.

I guess I'm going to have to try to retain this shit... and I only kept the braids in for 2 months. GRRRR. So annoying.

Aderonkei, the thing is paining me big time but I guess it's no big deal. I'll just take extra great care of it now and hopefully, by the next time I relax, I'll see different results. I think when my hair gets a little longer, it'll be all good.

LOL.... thanks for the tip. I don't relax my hair often. My hair was in braids for the last two months which is why I was able to last four months.

This is the first time I've ever stretched out my relaxing without having braids but it's been good. I even trimmed about an inch off my hair about two weeks ago. Haven't done much different except co-washing instead of washing all the time... When my hair is not in braids, I usually have it in a bun about 80% of the time but for some reason, this time around I actually had it less in a bun (like maybe 30%). I bunned it most in the last two or so weeks. But my hair has already improved a lot, even with the trim...

My hair should probably be longer than its usual length, definitely by the end of the year and perhaps even in September.

I guess when it comes it hair, it's mainly about time, huh?

Nothing different. Cowashed and braids. I braided in Oct, took them out in December. Braided end of Jan, took them out this weekend. In between just co-wash. Nothing more. Hair is looking fuller and definitely back to my preferred length. LOL.. Now, let's see if I can get this hair to get even longer.

No, I've been relaxing every three months. I relax about a month before I put my braids in.

When I co-wash I sometimes blow dry (but use heat protectant). If I'm going to do like bantu knots then I don't blow dry.
