One of my homeboys was shipped out earlier this month, so i been looking out for his wife and kids.

One day she was talking about how she doesn't like the guy been very flirty.

Dude is a very flirtacious guy to the girls ( I think I mentioned him once) and he does it most of the time to satisfy his own ego, i.e to be sure he's still got it.

Problem is, his wife thinks it's not proper, "Married men should not flirt" she says.

I think there's nothing wrong with people in commitment flirting as long as they dont take it serious, I've seen him flirt and all he does is just yann yann, the girl trips, he might get her number and fashi, delete her number or something...but i mean, it really doesn't go far AT ALL. He doesn't try that shit in front of his wife...he really does it in front of awon boys just for the cool points.

My question is how should people in commitments conduct themselves with flirting. I've known some girls (in relationships and a couple of married ones who flirt) so should flirting be totally canceled once a person is in a commitment? If not, how far or to what extent should the flirting go?

Some people flirting is just part of their personality but for someone to go out of their way to flirt to see if "they still got it" is just retarded.

His wife believes he should stop completely.

I'm just trying to make homegirl happy this one her husband wont be around for a while sha, the problem is their relationship is on the rocks and i'm just trying to encourage homegirl to hang in there, at least until he comes back then it's his call.

this whole flirting topic has landed him in trouble, and he's honestly trying to change but homegirl has a hard time believing it. and i'm just trying to downplay the whole flirting thing coz it could be way worse and dude really likes her.

When you are married or in a committed relationship then you should not flirt at all. Going as far as getting the number is even cheating. It's kind of like someone stops smoking weed and then all of a sudden they say they are back to smoking but they just don't inhale. Lame. His either committed or not.

First it's just getting the phone numbers then it goes to calling them and chatting "just to see" then it goes to meeting them for lunch and drinks "just to see." Tell your friend to stop being such an insecure wank and taking advantage of women who could be genuinely interested but don't realize they're being used to boost the bruised ego of a little boy.

the male psyche is a difficult one to comprehend. Sometimes we do this things and funny as it may sound, it helps ur relationship in a funny way. I have a steady relationship...i'm talkin rock steady and yet i flirt and it hasn't occured to me once to take it beyond that. The point being...believing i still got 'it' helps me maintain the person i am, the person she fell in love with from the word go.

Every woman shld understand her man as long as he hasn't done anything wrong...and any woman that doesn't is maybe not worth it
