Walking down inspiration street

In the middle of emptiness
Was the rain of sunshine
The light of darkness
People at the bottom of the social pile.

Pain in every drop of rain
Smile in every ray of shine
Price in every grain of rice
No''how r you's?'',they still say fine.

On the tee of little dan
Was crested ' Dream and Dungeons'.
Cos if hope were human,
He'd be wearing torn singlets and patched slip-ons.

Red for white collar jobs
cloths of nylon and cotton
life;a stereo with huge cylindrical knobs
and a VCR with no play button

Walking down inspiration street
was strolling down poverty lane
watching destinies up the creek
asking if pain is life's true name.
