We used to sing this when I went to Port Harcourt.
The girls would start: O bu gini ne jide ara O bu brezi O bu brezi, O O bu brezi ne jide ara ko hari da Dowa'm n'ara Dowa'm n'ara Dowa'm n'ara Dowa'm n'ara. [drums] kpo kpo ti kpo And the fellas would respond: O bu gini ne jide amu O bu pant O bu pant, O O bu pant ne jide amu ko hari da Dowa'm n'amu Dowa'm n'amu Dowa'm n'amu Dowa'm n'amu. [drums] kpo kpo ti kpo -------------------------------- Or there was the other one (from "Things Fall Apart," I think) Onye o wula a kpala agwu odudu, ma o di ndu ma o nwurawu ..repeat.
