This is a cliche thread but, out of curiosity, what are your turn-ons and turn-offs when it comes to the opposite sex? How much do you think culture affects these preferences? (I know I started another thread on the subject but I'm curious as to how much of our preferences for certain traits and attributes in the opposite sex are biologically hardwired as opposed to being the result of culture and environment).

Men, I guess you can answer the question as well.

As far as personality is concerned, my biggest turn-ons are compassion and a sense of humor. My biggest turn-offs would probably be women who are judgemental (I don't mean in a moral context, I mean judging people for their appearance, flaws etc.), arrogant and rude/mean-spirited.

I personally, I m attracted to a guy's ability to get me in first instance......not understanding me in whole at first(thats scary). Sense of humor, sense of style....modesty....being his own kinda man...these are turn-ons

-Gragraness
-Thinking the world revolves him
- Narcissism
-Closed mindedness
-Thinking like a cave man.

this might be my own lil' rant but whatever! I can't stand chauvinistic fools. I can't stand when a dude sees me as only a tool to get him some good food. As in, I've encountered so many fools lately that I automatically just wanna tune you out, if the first day you meet me the next thing you're asking is "can you cook, what can you cook, etc?"

Pretty much sums up most small Nigerian boys. If it does not include you no need to shit a stone over it. There are many men in my family that this does not apply to. Also add sexual aggression to that list and not in a sexy way either.
