I am a type 3.She is also a type 3.Hers was combed.
My hair is very very soft...so most of the time..i use my fingers to come thru.
The products works on all hair type. So am sure,its gonna work for U.

I went natural cos my hair was extremely soft..Tell her to use conditioner regularly n kinda stay away from shampoo...(Too harsh)Use Conditioning treatments like cholesterol and hot oil treatments regularly. It also makes combing it easier. She could also try Coconut oil ;it softens hair.

been natural for 2 years now...
i use all kinds of stuff...i try something new all the time but some of my faves that stick to in order

carols daughter healthy hair butter..my number one product!!!!!
qhemet biologics alma and olive oil heavy cream
plain ol ori(sheabutter) mixed with vit e oil/tui oil
carols daugher tui oil(love this stuff...the smell is amazing too)
cantu shea butter(i try not to use cause of dimethicones, but i cant resist the silky feeling)
for shampoo i use Dr brooners peppermint castoroil
for conditoner traderjoes brand conditoner(i 4get the exact name)

I have to try this kinky curly hmmm
