How much of a difference do you think culture makes when it comes to which traits or characteristics men most appreciate or dislike in the opposite sex?

very little difference if u ask me. I think it's more of an individual thing for ppl

Yes, it might be and individual's choice but a lot of factors shape the choices we make in life.

In the African culture there are roles ascribed to genders as opposed to the 'western' culture for instance(for the most part).

An African male of female would not look for the same things in the opposite sex the 'oyinbo' would look for.

An Arab would look for a different profile of a partner than a European.

Culture and religion play important parts in the way we socialize.

That is where the individual 'choice' comes in. Based on culture, education and religion.
