Skygurl:
1. Blend tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and habanero peppers to a nice chunky mixture. 2. Boil the blended mixture till all the extra water has completely dried out and it is like a paste. 3. In a separate pot, heat oil, cut up onions and when the onions are brown, pour the dried out blended paste and fry it. 4. Add seasonings and chicken broth 5. Leave to cook for whenever, sorry I don't have specific times I just taste and eyeball it. 6. Stew is ready. *If you want to make dodo and gizzard, don't add any broth...that thick kinda stew is good for dodo and gizzard. OR if you're feeling too lazy for fresh stuff and want a quick stew, 1. Heat oil, fry onions in the oil, when onions are brown pour in a can or 2 of tomato paste and tomato sauce and some blended tomatoes. 2. Add seasonings i.e pepper, maggi, salt, thyme, curry etc etc and chicken broth 3. Leave to cook Stew don ready. Sorry, this is a lazy way of typing up the recipe.

1 pound cooked hamburger, 1 can mixed veggies, 1 can Ro-tel, 1 can Ranch style beans, 2 cans tomato sauce(the 8 oz ones), 1 cup uncooked macaroni(any shape), 8 cups water, seasoning salt( I prefer Jess Hall's Serendipity), Garlic powder bout one tsp.
put all of this in a slow cooker and cook about 2 hours on low. It's spicy but really good |
