Can someone please explain the difference between Eau de toilette and eau de parfum?

eau de perfume stays longer than eau de toilet.

that is why eau de perfume is more expensive if you noticed, like what my baby sister said one has more alcohol than the other.

One is water based to produce a faint smell while the other is concentrated. That is why when you apply eau de toliet , it wears off quickly.

lol. I think it's more WATER. not alcohol...

hence one evaporates faster, and that would be the eau de toilette... it's funny because I just got an explanation from the clinique counter and I totally forgot everything she told me.

clinique happy is an eau de parfum.. so I asked her about it at the time...

so basically I still don't know
