But one thing I can not stand hearing about another dude is he physically assaulting her.

It's one of those things that gets beneath my skin and actually makes me angry (regardless if I know the victim involved or not)

As much as I feel that sometimes, it is provoked and a responding action is entitled (i.e if she hits him and he hits her back, I just believe as adults u need to respect urselves and expect something back in response if u cross that line and assault someone)

However, 90% of the time, I believe some dudes do it so aggravatingly (i apologize if I miss the word, something correlating with overtly aggressively, sometimes almost resulting in death) or unwarranted (there was no clear reason for an assault in the first place)

My people (esp ladies), my plea to u (to anyone who is going through this, or might encounter this) is: if your s.o hits u more than aggressively, just once...LEAVE. It will get worse, no it wasn't your fault. No, he wasn't just having a bad day, no he does NOT love you. If he did, he would respect you and not hurt you, let him go try that to his mother...if he doesn't, it's a fucking lie.

it will get worse, no questions asked, i know the rules of abuse, it's basically a hit with one hand and a hug with the other. Do not be deceived, he is not ur father, u are not a child, you are an adult. if your dad can't hit u, how dare another dude from God knows who's pussy dare hit you and you stare at him as he hits u some more? Do u know how most of the ladies who are dead now started off? yes just like you, it was just a hit, he said he didn't mean it, bought her flowers, took her out, came home, "made love" with her, next week, he's back on the business.

and please ladies, I'm saying and pleading u to leave moreso because it's not worth it, the sex can't be that good neither can his personality or wuteva. Infact, if there was something about his personality that attracted him to u, please keep in mind to watch for those things in the next person.

I'm saying leave, leave leave (a friend was even saying it's somewhere in the bible, but wuteva) leave leave leave.

If u don't, u are just as to blame as he is because u are like the co-conspirator to a crime...u were aware of a crime was committed, tho u were not the criminal, u are just as guilty. U are an adult, u should have the basic reasoning of what is in ur best interest or not, what is not right, what is dead wrong...PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LEAVE.

This is not sexual abuse as a child, that one has only one wrong person, sticking in an abusive relationship is two adults, capable of reasoning, if one is wrong, that doesn't mean the other should be a dumb-ass and revoke her license to think, LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE.

If it's a generational thing, if u saw ur mum getting hit, ur aunt, ur grandma, and every woman around u get hit, and think "Hey, its just normal"...No its not...go look @ a good man and see how they treat their woman, and change that trait that attracts u to those bitch ass Niggas...lEAVE LEAVE LEAVE.

If u are a witness to such stuff, use ur best judgment, if u cant handle it, call the appropriate authorities.

hey boss, nice post...esp with the generational thing....ive seen it happen with a friend but thankfully she left him (even though they still talk every month) this is just boyfriend. her reason for staying was that her dad did the same to her mom, and the same mom told her to stay in the relationship that is was normal....go fig.
