These verses usually lift my spirit. Post your inspirational Bible/Quranic verses;
Psalm 40 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. 2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord. 4 Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! 5 You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. 6 In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. [1] Romans 8: 28-29 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, [7] for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV) Jeremiah 29:1 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV) |

Vs.12
“No one is created by Me to be destitute. Listen inwardly to yourself, identify who you are in terms of your Ikenga (Talent), then properly interpret and obey my faint voice in you, and you will be led by your Chi to the hallmark of your akaraka (destiny), which is ultimate happiness in life which you can achieve no matter your station in life”. Taken from Nsibiri mbu (Text I) of the Nkomii

Favourite Song:
Draw me close to You Never let me go I lay it all down again To hear You say that I'm Your friend You are my desire No one else will do 'Cause nothing else could take Your place To feel the warmth of Your embrace Help me find the way Bring me back to You You're all I want You're all I've ever needed You're all I want Help me know You are near |

i dnt believe jesus died for anyone's sins. if he did why do we still pay the price for our - actions? the filthiness of this world is a consequence of man's sins...if the debt was already paid, why we suffering?
