What type do you have? I have the MacBook Pro (intel). Got it when it came out in late 2006. Never going to leave the Mac as long as I have the money.

When did you get it? It looks recent. When I got mine it was 2.16GHz. It came with 100 GB hard-drive and I had to upgrade to 160 GB. The memory was 1 GB and I had to upgrade to 2 GB. Overall I paid $2300 for it. I feel a little cheated that I can even get more for the same price today.

Um.... yes u were. Next time never buy memory from Apple. They just crooks. Upped my memory to 2G for less than $120 and they use general memory, just apple certified, same component. I just bought the same computer Pnxter got and it was a cool deal cos I got the iTouch with it and got the full money back in rebate. That plus the student discount so the entire thing cost less than 1300 with 2G memory.

Mine is the same as yours the 2.16GHz joint, but I NEED A 15" MACBOOK PRO!

One thing people fail to see why Mac have an edge over other clones is that both the hardware and software gives its users a very rich user experience like no other.

And it pisses me when people compare windows to macs. apples and oranges.

Macs = Hardware + software
Windows = Software

Mac OS X and Windows would be a good comparism.
