Natural Girls Do It Better
Hey, how many of you ladies wear their hair natural? I'll be relaxer-free for 3 years by the end of August
 I kinda just wanted to start this thread to share experiences and give tips on natural hair care and what not. I'll go first...To this day, my mom HATES my natural hair... Mom: "Are you going out with your hair like that?" Me: "Yes." Mom: "You know that you look like a ghetto child? No one will hire you looking like that..." Me: ... Mom: "When people look at you, they don't take you seriously. You need to smooth and straighten and shine it. I am going to relax your hair when you are sleeping, watch me." Me: ... Going natural must be an African American thing, because when I went to Nigeria this past Christmas, I almost didn't get my hair braided 'cause no one wanted to deal with my 'virgin' hair... Oh well!
