You are distinguished

(John 13:35) By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.


There is a whole lot of loving in the family. I mean the family of God. That is how men know that we are different. In a world that is so dark, we shine as light because we love one another.

You can usually tell family members apart from the crowd, not only because they look alike but because of their disposition towards one another. In a normal family, there is a bond that can be easily perceived. It goes beyond words. It's an unseen force that binds them together.

In Christ Jesus, we are one family. We have all been adopted as sons into the family of God. Even though we come from different backgrounds, races and regions of the world, we are still members of the largest family on earth.

The love we have for one another is our greatest identity. We are not identified by our denominations, religious practices or the places where we worship. We are identified by the love we have for one another.

That is why we should hesitate to bring one another down for any reason or the other. In fact, it should not be named amongst us. Denominational differences should not supersede the unifying power of God's love. All men will know that we are the disciples of Jesus, when we have love one for another.

MY DAILY CONFESSION

I am born of God and i have His nature of love. The love of God has been shed abroad in my heart. I release the force of God's love from my inside on consistent basis. I do not walk in strife, malice or unforgiveness. I walk freely in the love of God because it is my nature.

I subject my flesh to walk in love. I do not walk according to the dictates of the flesh but I walk as led by the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit enables me to walk in love at all times. God is with me, God is in me and God is for me so I cannot fail.

I please God and obey His commandments. I love God and I love my neighbors as myself. I therefore walk under open heavens. God opens the windows of heaven over my life because I co-operate with Him by walking in love. I enjoy the benefits of the new covenant established on better promises. I walk in healing, health, prosperity, preservation and wholeness. I am satisfied with long life and prosperity.

I cannot fail in life because love never fails. Whatsoever I lay my hands upon prospers. I prosper in my health, family, relationships and my career. I am born to win and designed for success.

I stand out in my location. I am distinguished because I walk in the love of God. I represent God adequately in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. I shine as light. I am set upon a hill and I cannot be hidden. I am an effective witness of the kingdom of God because I walk in love.

How can we be adopted if we are already children of God?

We were children of God until adam sinned, then we broke the connection between man and God. so we lost that connection and it could not be restored because of our sins. so then we became "children of the devil". doesn't always sound good, but that's why is important to become born again.

so when we get born again, we're leaving one father and going to the other. but in this case, we become adopted into sonship , so if ur born again, ur a child of God.

So what you are saying is that you can stop being someone's child? If you were created as a child of God, then you will always be one. In the parable of the prodigal son, was the young man no longer the son of the father because he left the house?
