Do your part
(John 14:14-16 KJV) If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;


The Spirit of God is in you to assist you in all things. The key word here is assist. He is not going to take over your life. You have a part and the Holy Spirit has His own peculiar roles in your life. He will not do your part. In fact, you initiate the whole process where the ministry of the Spirit is concerned.

An example of this is your prayer life. He will not pray for you but He will help you to pray effectively. You initiate the process by separating some time out to commune with God in prayer. The job of the Holy Spirit is to empower your prayer life for effective result. This includes helping you to pray effectively about situations where you have limited information.

Another way the Holy Spirit helps you is by providing direction for you. However, it will be your decision whether to follow the promptings or not. There will be adequate provision when you are sensitive to His voice. He will never make you to do anything if you are unwilling.

Make up your mind that the assistance of the Holy Spirit will be maximized in your life. Be determined to co-operate with Him so that He can lead you into greatness. Be responsible today by becoming willing and obedient to the workings of the Holy Spirit in your life.

MY DAILY CONFESSION
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. I am the temple of the Holy Spirit. I keep God's temple holy and God is always pleased with me.

The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in me. I am quickened from within. My body and soul are full of God's life as a result of the working of the Spirit on my inside.

Greater is He that lives within me than the one that lives in the world. I can do all things through the Spirit of God that strengthens me.

I have an anointing from the Holy One and I know all things. The Spirit of God that lives on my inside teaches me all things about life.

I have been adopted as a Son into the kingdom and I am always led by the Spirit of God. His divine power has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness.

I am never confused in life because the Spirit of God leads and guides me. God has not given the spirit of fear but that of love, sound mind, and power.
