Your sins are forgiven
(Ephesians 1:7 KJV) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. God demonstrated the riches of grace by providing the benefit of forgiveness for every one that receives Jesus Christ. Therefore, God is not holding our past against us. He forgave and forgot all our shortcomings. The most amazing thing about the blood of Jesus is that it covers your past, present and future. If all His blood did was to forgive our past without any provision for our future we will still be in a mess. However, thank God that the same blood that washed our past also guarantees our restoration when we miss the mark in our walk with God. In as much as we should not make a practice of sin, we also need to know that God has provided a way back into fellowship when we make a mistake. You do not have to stay away from God simply because you sinned. Quickly run back to God to receive forgiveness. Do not live in a broken fellowship another day. Remember, you are forgiven in the blood of Jesus. DAILY SCRIPTURE READING: Ephesians 1:1-23. MY DAILY CONFESSION Jesus has paid the price for my total freedom in life. I have been bought with a price. Therefore, I glorify God in my body and spirit, which are God's. For sin, I have received righteousness. For sickness, I have health. And for poverty, I have abundance. Jesus knew no sin but He became sin that I might become the righteousness of God in Him. Jesus Himself bore my griefs, sicknesses, weaknesses and distress, and carried my sorrows and pains; He was wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities, the chastening for my peace and well-being fell upon Him and with His stripes I am healed. I know the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ. Though He was very rich, yet, He became very poor in order that I can be made rich through His poverty. I shall not frustrate the grace of God because I am walking in the fullness of my redemptive rights. I stand fast in the liberty I have received as a child of God. I will not be entangled any longer in the yoke of slavery. I am totally free from every oppression of the evil one. I boldly declare according to Galatians 3:13 that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. I am completely free from the curse of sin, sickness and poverty. |
