Default Ashamed of our culture
The more i surf NR the more i see so many members who seem to be proud to be Nigerian but ashamed of anything that involves African culture.. i have been saying a few comments in responce to videos like backwards or animalistic or barbaric.. you would expect this from white people..


ive lived 9 years in Nigeria..the rest in the UK..now even though im very much westernised .. i lived in nigeria from 8 till 17.. so it helped me appretiate our culture even more.. moving back to the UK even made me want to hang on to my culture even more and be proud of it.

it seems too m any of us have been brainwashed by western culture into thinking that theirs is the norm mean while they have no culture what so ever. one reason i could marry an indian girl but not a white one


anyway im just logging my dissappointment in members of this site.. dont forget a few hundrend years ago comments like this were made by white people.. before they started shipping us across the atlantic.. and was used to justify it... "They are just savages, inhuman animal eaters"

STFU! There are parts of our culture that I am not proud of and yes it is animalistic and backwards. Look at present day Africa, the poorest continent, is that something to be proud of, despart the resources and potential?
