I don tire of dis hair o! been natural for 2 1/2 years now...i'm thinkin of perming my hair on Saturday.

dnt do it......be strong!!!....think of the dayz when its raining and all ur permed friends are running for serious cover while u can take ur sweet time

man i'm tired of braids. i always miss my hair. plus it hasn't grown much! i dunno wat i'm doin wrong

press is out, instead of putting a perm in it.

i don't have a perm in my hair, i only press it out (does that cout as being natural? lol)

i just pressed it today. i go take a pic for u but it usually last like 1 week. as soon as i sweat or take a shower (i do use a shower cap) i guess the stem curls it right back up

2-3 weeks depends on how well i maintain it (but then again, my hair is "trained"), the roots are straightened out when you press (your "new growth"), it look like your hair is permed.

so far so good for me, i've been pressing for almost 8 yrs now

yes to your question.
it depends on your grade of hair, ive been natural for about 7yrs and for the last year i only wear it pressed but luckily when i don't press it out it bounces back with its curls and shape.... so it depends on hair, ive seen people who dont get their natural curls back

my press if no water or much humidity hits it lasts as long as 3weeks

yourself?

u need a professional for that.....they press to the roots...so ur actual lenght can be trimmed equally

I heard u should do it atleast once everyother month....

It goes back to those tight "nappy" curls???

I'm very curious. Never done it and never seen it done.

What's involved in pressing? Just a hot flat iron?? It just doesnt seem like that would last 3 weeks. i'm assuming ur limited in ur activities with a press...no working out, no going out on a humid day...
