No, you don't have to be ghetto to meet a decent black dood..what the..? There are a lot of black doods out there who don't want no ghetto females. What state are you in anyways? I don't know that there are many first generation babies on here. Even me sef who left Naija pretty young was still born there, and didn't make it here til 8 years ago.

That being said, I sincerely hope that you do not conform to people's expectations of ghetto-ness. My own mother had a problem with my age more than the race of who I may date. I was not technically allowed to date until I turned 18. Even then, she was somewhat chagrined by my seeming partiality towards Jamaican dudes, because they do not have a good rep in general.

At the end of the day, though, the main thing to remember is that there's no need to force the whole dating situation. Chill until someone who gets you comes by, and take it from there.

....dont know your age exactly, seems like your young so my advice is just chill; belive me when its the right time to find a spouse that you want to spend the rest of you life with....vocabulary such as "raw" jumps out the window...by that time you would have matured(hopefuly) and you start looking for more important things that will make yall compatible regardless of what race or how long they have been abroad..
