Alot of comparisons on that list are serious streches, but yeah, the Yorubas were once in the Nile Valley along with many other West African groups. The Orishas of the Yoruba correspond very well to the Neteru of Egypt.

Yorubas understand that thousands upon thousands of years ago.....A warrior named Lamurudu.....came from the East and he is the father of Oduduwa........Now, according to the link, Yorubas are not descendants of Negro Egyptians/Nubians per say.....the migrants met people occupying the region.....these people known as the Nok.......intermarried with these migrants from Negro Egypt and Nubia and thus.......the Yoruba nation emerged.....

Oh and of course quite a few words are a stretch....serious stretches
