About the Vixen Shows

These are lively choreographed productions that showcase the talents of upcoming African/African American designers. The show also features talent creations and an award ceremony that recognizes the achievements of African Americans in the entertainment industry. The show features Danick Productions, Inc. models, college students and amateurs that have been selected and trained in the appropriate fields. They represent Danick Productions, Inc. as a whole and serves as an icon for the clients that Danick Productions, Inc serves.

Through these fashion entertainment shows, we turn the spotlight to the designers whose talent and creations affect and remind us of our heritage. The achievers who are awarded remind us of the courage and dedication that we need to use to elevate the African American community and imbibe the cultural background for generations to come.

This year, our award recipients include
Miss Kimberla Lawson Roby http://www.kimroby.com for the Danick Achievement Award for Literary Excellence

Omar Tyree http://www.omartyree.com for the Danick Achievement Award for Literary Excellence

Eric Jerome Dickey http://www.ericjeromedickey.com for the Danick Achievement Award for Literary Excellence

Donnie Simpson http://www.wpgc955.com of DC's WPGC 95.5FM for the Danick Achievement Award for Commitment to Community and Humanitarian Service and the Danick Radio Personality of the Year.

This year, the tentative designers for the show are Pela Designs, Moshood, Nigerian Fabrics and Fashions, Tony Anyiam Designs and a host of other guest designers

The Vixen 2002 Fashion Entertainment show will take place September 14, 2002 at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington DC at 8.00p.m.

The host is none other than Shemar Moore of the new WB series "Birds of Prey" Check him out at http://www.shemar.com
