dual monitor system set up

Sorry i am responding to this late. You will need to have a video card that supports dual monitors these things are pretty cool. Once this is done ... the rest is very simple...

it is often a hardware software process unless u have a DVi port... on ur PC.

just plug the second screen into your comp. and change ur display settings. It has never failed for me sha.

i did all that during set up
it flickers when i run certain programs usually when i compile from eclipse
or sometimes during regular browsing

The flickering might be a device driver issue. Run windows update and update the drivers for the OS. Then also you may want to reduce the refresh rate on it.
