This is not news you are likely to see as media headlines, a google search won’t help out that much either. William Rodriguez, popularily known as the Last Man Out, for being the brave janitor who went back to open doors for fire saftey and saved many lives, who subsequently was the last man pulled out of the rubble, has now become a Muslim. He converted about 5 years 4 months later, after asking many questions.

He has suffered multiple attacks since his reverting to islam, even before, he said, he was attacked with by various parties in America due to his dissatisfaction with the political condition of the country. However, now after he has converted to Islam, he was being accused of opposing the Government just because he is a Muslim.


“You see, they are always finding reasons, every time,” he said.“Is it wise for me to go out and tell the world that I am a Muslim? Many people are suspicious. Many told me to keep quiet, move silently because you are in the position of easily being attacked.“I ignored them just because my Government opposed to what I am doing. They could kill me tomorrow, doesn’t necessarily be in America. It could be in Israel or just anywhere.
“In reality, I am on a mission, and the only way I can glorify Allah is by doing what I am currently doing now, there is no other way,” he said. - DM
