A bundle of joy, since the day that you came,
Unique child, with no other the same,
look to the future,and and all that it holds,
you'll be a child of good spirit and heart of gold,

You're still young and tender and still full of hope
the times may get hard but you will still cope,
grow strong and proud and be the best you can be,
no one can stop you ,for it's your destiny,


There are no need for tears and no need for screams,
rest your mind young soul child, and be peaceful in your dreams,
this really isn't much, just a lullaby for you,
small words of encouragement, to help you keep true.

you will one day burn brightly, your flames will ever survive,
You'll be your mother's joy and be your father's pride.

Stay peaceful sould child, you need not cry,
all words of comfort ,are written in this lullaby.

...this really does sound like a lullaby - an african lullaby maybe since it has more depth. i can actually see myself reading/singing this to my baby. It seems quite appropriate for ages newborn-8wks depending on the child, but I'm talking about the period after birth when they don't sleep at all during the night and all they do is cry even when they've been fed and changed.
