Default Hair issue

My hair has been falling out since I got a relaxer from a salon and I need to do something that won't bother it for a while. I want to braid it but someone suggested getting a weave. Do u think getting a weave is better? I really need to let the hair rest for a while and I'm not sure braiding won't make it worse.

I don't like weaves but it may be the best option, I'm not sure of how to maintain it either. Should I just get braids?

I know I'm babling but I just so frustrated. This is the reason I hate going to salons.

You might want to leave it out for minute before you throw more stress on your hair like weave or braids. Another thing is you could go back to the place you got your hair done demand they solve your hair issue. I ll for you.

If you don't wanna stress it get a wig. I would suggest getting a weave but get it sewn in cos gluing will make you lose your hair fast.

I would suggest leaving it out for a while too. It would probably be better if you just keep washing and deep conditioning on a regular basis for a while (depending on how damaged it is).

I agree. You need to treat and get your own hair back into shape first. The relaxer was probably too strong for your hair or the stylist didn't neutralize properly. I would do a protein treatment once per week until the hair is strong again. ORS Replenishing Pak is great...not too strong, but it will get the job done. Follow up with a deep conditioning, moisturizing conditioner. Rinse that out and then use a moisturizing leave-in.

Do protective styles (buns, twist outs, rollersets. etc) that don't require a lot of manipulation and try to keep direct heat off the hair.

Also, be sure to moisturize daily. And remember, oil sheen IS NOT a moisturizer. Natural oils work best.

I did the conditioning and all that but it's still falling off. I got tired so I got braids but not the small type. Hopefully it doesn't make it worse.

Hell nah! My hair was almost reaching my bra strap before I had a hair cut two months ago and the women cut too much off. Now it's just below my shoulder. I'll just let it grow out for like two-to-four months and see what happens. Somehow my hair always bounce back, I'll just have to stop being lazy and do the relaxer myself next time.
