if I were to trim my hair every 6 weeks, I'd be bald headed in a year.

For me, every 12 weeks is about right (every other relaxer). I don't get split ends or breakage unless I overextend the period between relaxers or I get lazy and don't take care of my hair properly.

My big problem is dandruff, not split ends. If someone can come up with that cure I'd love you forever....
thats true, trim accprdingly not every 6 weeks, a friend trims 2x a yr, and she has long healthy hair past armpit length.
If u take care of ur ends well, u wont have to trim like that. Folks need to be careful of scissors happy stylists. Everythin ur stylist says isnt golden, be proactive as well.
