The Bonds of Friendship

Life is empty when you're alone
Emptiness you feel when you're deserted
Deserted you are when you can't find anyone
To love and care for you or to talk with

But their is a joy within that you can't measure
When you meet the first person to talk and share with
Someone that will understand you
And feel your pains and struggles

That person will always have a special place in your heart
As life progresses we meet a lot of people and we make friends
But this first person is occupying a special place in your heart
You can't edit it nor delete it

That's the place I put you in my heart
Because you're more than words alone can define
You're not just special but precious you are

Though the distance is there
But we will never be apart
And I pray our Friendship bond
Will be stronger than that of a Diamond
