JIHAD, TRANSLATES- EFFORT
Jihad has the literal meaning of exerting our best and greatest effort to achieve something. It is not the equivalent of war, for which the Arabic word is qital. Jihad has a much wider connotation and embraces every kind of striving in God’s cause. A mujahid is one who is sincerely devoted to his or her cause; who uses all physical, intellectual, and spiritual resources to serve it; who confront any power that stands in its way; and, when necessary, dies for this cause. Jihad in the way of God is our struggle to win God’s good pleasure, to establish His religion’s supremacy, and to make His Word prevail.

VERSES FROM QURAN

Those who have been expelled from their homes without a just cause except that they say: Our Lord is Allah. And had there not been Allah's repelling some people by others, certainly there would have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques in which Allah's name is much remembered; and surely Allah will help him who helps His cause; most surely Allah is Strong, Mighty. (Quran 22.41)
...HERE GOD SAYS THAT HAD HE NOT USED GREAT BRAVE ZEALOTS(LIKE DAVID/MOSES/PETER/MUHAMMED/JESUS/SALLAHUDIN) TO CHASE AWAY TYRANTS OVER THE YEARS, THE CHURCHES, MOSQUES AND SYNAGOGUES WE HAVE TODAY WOULD ALL HAVE BEEN LOST/DESTROYED BY THE EVIL ONES.

If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have believed. Do you think you can force people to be believers?

...if someone kills another person - unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the earth - it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind... (Qur'an, 5:32)

Permission to fight is given to those who are fought against because they have been wronged - truly God has the power to come to their support - those who were expelled from their homes without any right, merely for saying, "Our Lord is God"… (Qur'an, 22:39-40)

Fight in the Way of God against those who fight you, but do not go beyond the limits. God does not love those who go beyond the limits. (Qur'an, 2:190)

"Do not kill yourselves." (Qur'an, 4:29)

There are only grounds against those who wrong people and act as tyrants in the earth without any right to do so. Such people will have a painful punishment. (Qur'an, 42:42)

"Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair admonition..." (Qur'an, 16:125), however, they must also bear in mind the verse, "You are not responsible for their guidance, but God guides whoever He wills." (Qur'an, 2:272)

We know best what they say and you [O Muhammad] are not a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an whoever fears My warning. (Qur'an, 50:45)

Do not corrupt the earth after it has been put right. Call on Him fearfully and eagerly. God's mercy is close to the good-doers. (Qur'an, 7:56)

O You who believe! Show integrity for the sake of God, bearing witness with justice. Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to faith. Heed God (alone). God is aware of what you do. (Qur'an, 5:8)

Christianity meets Islam- History has it that Islam saved christianity from itself especially during the wicked fourth Crusade, and is responsible for Christianity that survived to re-flourish on Earth

Islam & the Crusades
Mohammed heard the call of "God" in 610. By 750 Islamic armies had conquered Spain, all of North Africa, Arabia, Palestine and Mesopotamia, and were spreading eastward as well.
Although they were courteous towards Jews and Christians as "people of the Book," European views of Muslims were of only one kind. The Muslim was the Antichrist and the heretic, and furthermore remained a military threat.
In 1095, Pope Urban II, partly in response to the appeals of the Eastern emperor, preached a Crusade which would liberate Palestine from the heathen and relieve pressure on the East from invading Turks. The First Crusade was the most successful of them all, establishing small kingdoms along the Mediterranean coast of the Holy Land and capturing Jerusalem. But the Christian invaders were more ruthless and inhuman to their enemies than Muslim rulers had ever been. And all crusades after the First were even worse.
The fourth Crusade was so bad that it diverted from fighting Muslims to instead attacking Constantinople itself. They sacked the city and set up a new Latin-based king and church there. The Greeks took back the city years later, but any respect for Western European Christianity pretty much ended at that time.
The crusades had the same effect on Muslims, establishing a hatred of Western Christians that still has repercussions on modern relations with the Middle East.

And now take a look at the real people that cause trouble on Earth. The people the Quran hate the most, and refers to as mischief/corruption on Earth makers. It's not war that's the problem, these are not moslems, not Christians or Budhists.

THE SCENARIOS THAT LED TO THE PRE-EMPTIVE BATTLES FOUGHT BY THE PROPHET

Scenario 1.

Moslems, Christians or Jews come/run to the Prophet from some town, and tell him that their Idol worshipper(Mushrikun/unbeliever) leader doesnt allow them worship God, go to Mosque, Church etc. And beats and kills them if they are caught congregating for the one God.

Prophet sends a letter to the King to ask if it be so that he allow freedom of worship in his city.

The king sends a letter back cursing him out, and even worsens his killing of citizens of his territory.

The prophet sends a couple more letters to no avail, and warns that he will come with the forces of God and relieve him of his office.

Finally after it is seen that this murderer won't see reason, the prophet invades his town, not to spread Islam, but to spread freedom. No one is forced to accept Islam at any point, then or ever. They are only liberated to do whatever they wish, but they get to love Islam for it's self sacrifice, kindness, peace and empathy and embrace it themselves, of their own volition.
