this issue has broought confusion 2 many pepole:
why would Jesus curse an innocent tree? what did it do? it wasn't its season. etc. but by God's grace this has been revealed to me: we all know nothing on this earth is as it seems. everything in the physical has a spiritual equivalent. now Jesus was hungry and he knew he would soon approach a tree, so he was expecting the tree to have fruits even if it wasn't his season, God cant be limited by forces, seasons and timings of the world. If the tree ended up having fruit, it would then be a miracle. But this tree did not respond so therefore it has a problem, some unknown force was trying to oppose God. Jesus knowing this was more or less cursing the demon not the tree because this demon had been in grown and is now part of the tree. so thats that!!!

@onyii ur first idea is plausible but if true it would have been written as a parable not an event. ur second idea: Jesus has 2 have a reason 4 losing his temper thats where my explanation comes in...
