ummmmm that is not how owo looks o... chei no offense but what u have in ur plate doesn't look presentable at all.... and you could have beaten/mix the starch together a bit more cuz it's still miscolored. Starch and Banga still beats starch and owo anyday sha.

there's nothing wrong with the presentation.. some people do put "efo" in owo soup.. as per the starch, it isn't easy making that thing.. i see my mom struggle to make it sometimes.. starch is ok with THICK banga soup though..

@omoD personally i don't like thick starch so when i make it, it's easier to do and it comes out softer... everyone else in my house likes it thick so i do it half way then i call my mum... her nick name is Professor T.J. Usi lol that's how good at it she is.

Ok this might sound like a dumb question but what is starch exactly. From the pics posted it looks like really thick custard.

does starch have a taste? or is it kinda like pounded yam? u know..just smooth to assist the swallowing of the soup?
