Techies, where's the best place to buy a mac?

Spyware & viruses have crippled my win2k and I don't think I wanna go the Vista route. Any places where I can get to test drive a mac real well and check out options etc. Best buy & circuit city don't really carry em.

Where are you located. Best bet is to go to an actual Apple Store.

anyone running OS X on intel hardware? Probably a cheaper alternative to buyin a mac hardware.

Closest mac store to me is about 1hr away. I'll check them out sometime soon.
